Greetings all,

I would like to take this opportunity to commend GDAD Charter Member and Anti-NXT stallwart Brian Hill for hosting a remarkable event. The Inaugural Ian MacCallister Invitational Dart Tournament was held this past month to raise awareness of the atrocities committed by NXT golf balls and their criminal addict users. As there were no reported eye puncture wounds (the time-honoured standard of achievement for any “arrows” get-together) and only one basement-clearing donnybrook, I can confidently proclaim Brian’s tournament a happy success! Furthermore, I would like to thank Brian, as I am quite flattered by the choice of words implemented in the official title. No news yet on final results from the tournament, but as we darters (and traditional golfers!) all know, surviving is oftentimes winning enough. October 19, 2007,Country Place National CC — GDAD (Golf Designers Against Distance) reminds traditional golfers worldwide of an historic event taking place here tonight. As sponsor of the first annual Ian MacCallister Invitational Dart Tournament, GDAD encourages all supporters to tune in to live coverage on the Goof Channel. Participants in this history shaping event have more in common than being expert golfers and dartsmen……they all loathe the dreaded Titleist NXT golf ball and work toward a common goal….MAKING GOLF DIFFICULT AGAIN! This fun-filled, spirited, competition will bring worldwide attention to taking the fun out of golf and returning it to its rightful place in the sports arena. GDAD founder and chairman Ian MacCallister released a statement: “Best wishes to all participants in tonight’s competition. I, myself, have always enjoyed a good game of darts with Mum. Using the game as a vehicle to wipe out Titleist’s latest sphere of destruction, the NXT golf ball, is simply icing on the cake. Hopefully the game of darts will never have to face being made obsolete by technology, as the game of golf is now. My hat is off to fellow GDAD member and anti-NXT supporter Brian Hill and his band of idiots. Surely their actions tonight will place the spotlight on such a noble cause. I eagerly anticipate posting footage of tonight’s event on my worldwide Interweb site.” Brian Hill was unavailable for comment as he was out of the area preparing for the Pro-Am golf tournament that will precede the dart competition. It is rumoured that several members of Hill’s band of idiots will also play golf in the AM. Calls to Mr. Hill’s press corps were unreturned as they were busy briefing the Paparazzi on when and where photographs would be allowed during the golf outing. Security is expected to be tight for all activities, but if past experience is any indicator, Mr. Hill will, at some point, be available for pictures and autographs.
