Songs of Today | July 25, 2007

Dear Friends,

Some of you have been so kind in Uploading music to this little blog of mine. Perhaps you are feeling the inspiration from my very own #1 Hit “Make Golf Difficult Again“.

Make Golf Difficult Again by Ian MacCallister

Whatever the case may be, it’s wonderful and keep them coming.

A very special homemade song came from Mr. Patrick Klaybor (a Scotsman no doubt). His description is thus: Ebb and Flow is a song about life and its comparison to waters interaction with people and the planet.” Well Patrick, I don’t know what the devil this has to do with golf, but I rather liked the tune.

Ebb and Flow by Patrick Klaybor

Another creative genius, Mr. Jim Morrison, who hails from Oh Canada!, sent me some lyrics. He writes thusly:”Was once in love with this ball so much I wrote a wee song about it.A fine wee ball a bonnie wee ball a bonnie wee Titleist. I smashed it down the fairway I thought I couldn’t miss. I launched it onto the putting green I’m putting for a three. But when I gave the ball a stroke it rolled behind a tree. I’ve changed my mind about this ball, it’s not for you nor me I’ll campaign against it too, this brute called ‘NXT’.Truth be known it’s a “GREAT BALL.”

(Editors note: I don’t agree with this last line of course, but have included it in good faith and to illustrate that I do not participate in biased censorship).

NXT Extreme is by far the straightest Titleist Golf Ball I’ve ever played. I need the low spin to keep it straight and the NXT Extreme gives it to me.

Hi Ian,

Just had a quick look around your site I thought it was great, I didnt have enough spare time to check it out fully but enjoyed what I did read.

Bonnie wee Jean McCall would be quite pleased with your adaptation of her song

Great humour and refreshingly different.

I will be back soon

Joe
