Mum Dancing | July 17, 2007

Dear Fellow Bloggers:

Many of you have positively commented on my dear Mum’s fine dancing so I took a look through the webcam archives and came across these superb clips of Mum dancing.

It is now clear where I get my exceptional rhythm and style! Mum’s moves are a bit more contemporary than my own (my classical training is in Highland dance, with some jazz and tap) but her improvisational gyrations are mesmerizing.

My guess is that we will be seeing variations on her steps out in dance halls across the country. Anyone care to share their own unique dance style with the rest of the NXTube.com bloggers? Upload away!

Yours,
Ian

Cool funky music. Great dancing also.

Wow that mum sure can shake a tailfeather. I noticed that her dance music has changed, but I liked both songs I heard…will your mum be choosing another tune again soon? What are her favorite bands/groups/acts????
Her public is waiting!

Ian,

Which Titleist balls would you recommend that I play? The golf shops seem to be all out of feathery’s.

Ian wrote on August 7, 2007 at 9:59 am

TW,

None. I would recommend you get off the couch, get some cowhide and goose feathers and make your own featheries like we did when I was a young lad.

Yours Truly,
Ian

Ian: Your Mom’s dance is great!! But I wonder if she is a NXT fan or not? I tell you, the only thing better then my NXT’s are the Pro V1’s .. Boy do they go far and straight!!.

Your Mum has the amazing ability to move across the room instantaneously. Do tell us her secret to teleportation!

Ian wrote on July 26, 2007 at 3:44 pm

Thank you, Chuck Coleman, for your kind words about mum. She has been feeling somewhat self-conscious since we posted her video to the Interweb, so I know she will truly appreciate your praises. Apparently mum would have selected different trousers had she known this would be viewed by billions of fans. She had merely infiltrated my office to wash some of her knickers when she began to enjoy some of my rock and roll albums, unaware my high-powered cameras were rolling.

Regarding your comment on teleportation, I refer you to the “Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual.” Transporters convert a person or object into an energy pattern (a process called dematerialization), then “beam” it to a target, where it is reconverted into matter (rematerialization). I assure you we have no such technology here in my spacious offices. I am merely working out the bugs in this new video editing program I picked up at the secondhand computer store.

Hope this helps.

What? Are you trying to perpetuate the stingy Scottish stereotype. Why can’t you buy some decent top-of-line software at a reputable store? Isn’t your Mum worth the expense? A fine son you are!

Your mum is easily the best dancer of the past one hundred centuries.

If only the younger generations were blessed with such prodigious skill.

Ian,
I think I see kind of a rebirth of Monty Python coming, and it’s about time.

I used to be able to dance like that!

Editors Note: Don’t be fooled by this man’s pen name. I have it under good advice that this is NOT the man you think it is!

This is easily the greatest video I have ever seen

Ian wrote on July 19, 2007 at 3:15 pm

Dear Ardy:

Yes! I must agree. But have you seen some of my videos?

Oh my! Can she ever shake her tailfeather. Ian, those are some of the finest moves on a seasoned woman I have ever seen. I think I’m in love. Please tell me a little more about dear Mum.

Awaiting your response,

Jeremy

Jeremy:

Mum is quite flattered by your sincere appreciation of her art. She has made a suggestion that you create a character video to tell her more about yourself. She has communicated that before she can divulge any more of herself, she must know what potential rewards she will receive.

Yours,

Ian
